Auschwitz

Whilst a trip to Krakow is more often than not about partying and having fun, this is the one activity which we offer that couldn’t be further from this, but it is still something most people feel they should do when in Krakow. Auschwitz concentration camp is situated roughly an hour and 15 minutes’ drive from Krakow and was the place where over one million people suffered and died during the second world war. Nowadays the camp serves as a reminder to people of the atrocities that took place there in the form of a museum. The first part of the tour is Auschwitz camp which has been transformed into the museum, the second part of the tour is the neighbouring Birkenau camp which will help try to give you a perspective of the day to day conditions people suffered here.
